Silmaril
a luxurious sailing yacht
in the British Virgin Islands

Join us aboard our 41' sailing yacht Silmaril where you can enjoy sailing, snorkeling, and swimming the spectacular waters of the Virgin Islands.

We specialize in two or three day sailing adventures which are quite popular with a couple or small family who would like "land and sea" vacations.  For those who plan to stay at two different BVI hotels, we’ll be happy to take you from one island resort to another.

Whether you experience romantic nights for two, or a fun-filled outing with family or friends, you will have memories to last a lifetime.

Our itineraries vary.  We pride ourselves in striving to match the right amount of sailing, snorkeling, relaxing, and dining to meet guests' ideals for exploring the British Virgin Islands.

DAY I

We'll set sail around 10:00 am for a one and a half hour up-wind cruise to Cooper Island.  Upon arrival, Robyn will lead a snorkel tour around Cistern Rock which has some exciting sea life diversity and where we usually see Sting Rays, Moray eels, and Puffer Fish.

After returning to Silmaril for a fresh warm water shower and beverages, we serve you a delicious lunch on the yacht, or you can head ashore to eat at Cooper Island Beach Club on a palm lined beach and try the conch fritters, a true favorite over the years.

After lunch, we set sail for Marina Cay.  Upon arrival, guests will have the option to either snorkel, explore ashore, or relax on board in the sunshine.

As sunset approaches, wine, cheese, and crackers seem the perfect way to bid the day adieu.

We can serve you dinner on board or you may dine ashore at Pussers-Marina Cay, an open-air beachside restaurant which serves lobster, fish, chicken, steaks and chef's specials.  Marina Cay is also known as the "Official Home of the Republic of Cuervo".

After dinner guests will return to Silmaril for music, drinks, conversation or for some ... just bed.

DAY 2

As we set sail for the Baths on Virgin Gorda, the British Virgin Island's main tourist attraction for its unsurpassed beauty, the day will get started with our fresh Blueberry Banana Pancakes.

At the Baths, you'll have lots of time to explore, snorkel, and relax on the beautiful beaches.  Lunch is aboard Silmaril in the cockpit.  Spicy Thai Shrimp or Trinty Chicken Salad is usually a big hit.

Our afternoon sail is downwind and very relaxing.  We call it our “snooze cruise" since our guests often lay on deck and drift in and out of sleep and total relaxation.

Shortly before sunset, we wind through the reef into Maya Cove.  Here we will have a beautiful breeze and a nearby reef keeps waters calm for peaceful sleeping.  Sunset again brings on hors d'oeuvres and drinks.

Dinner tonight can be on our yacht, or at Calamaya's which serves an eclectic menu of Mediterranean and Caribbean cuisine dockside on the harbor.

Morning brings fresh raspberry muffins and sweet local fruit.  Now it's time for a beam reach sail back to the destination of your choice.

We encourage all of our guests to complete our Food Preference sheet before arrival so that we may accommodate your tastes.

Please note that all meals on the sailboat are included in our rates; meals at island restaurants are not included.

However, those staying at Peter Island and booked on its Ashore/Afloat package will have dinner at island restaurants included at no extra charge.   For more information about Peter Island’s Ashore/Afloat package, CLICK HERE
